Spellers were asked to "dress their best" for the farewell dinner and party.

Steady Man and Lizard.

Butterfly and Ellie (younger sister of another speller).

Guess who loves dancing!

Always a good dance partner.

This Mississippi spellebrity walked by glancing, almost hopefully, at her.
So she asked him to dance.
And he said, "Yes!"
Of course.

Lizard loved that her big brother danced with her.

Can't decide which of the three expressions I like best. They all make me smile.

We were pleased to have one of our favorite spellers,
Michael, from Ohio, in our dance group.

Butterfly, Michael and Katie.

Looks like they are preparing for a special dance move.

Katie, a Pennsylvania speller.

Check out these moves!

And check out these!

Historian's friend Nickan from California.

Historian attempting to get the autograph of the National Spelling Bee Champion,
Snigdha Nandipati.
Score!

Just before departure, we snapped this photo of Historian with another friend, a former MK/current PK/Spellebrity from Pennsylvania, Daniel.
